Andrew's father Mike (Ibrahim) was born in Lebanon. He settled in Hantsport, NS, in 1961 and opened his first store, known as Mike's. Over the years, Mike and his wife, Mary, operated several successful clothing stores in the Annapolis Valley under the name, Mike's Menswear & Nadia's House Of Fashion. Many of Mike's family followed in his footsteps. Andrew remembers his Father fondly and prides himself on the wisdom he provided, "Carry good quality products and be good to your customers".
